Agnes "Polly" Pauline (Brown) Siewert

September 7, 1926 — December 25, 2002

Agnes “Polly” Siewert died Wednesday, December 25, 2002 at her home in rural Montevideo, MN at the age of 76.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 31, 2002 at 1:30 P.M. at Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.  Dennis Anderson will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo.

Visitation will be held Monday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo with the family present from 5-7:00 P.M.

Agnes Pauline (Brown) Siewert was born September 7, 1926 at Springfield, OH the daughter of Charles and Mary (Malcray) Brown.  She lived there until she was united in marriage with Carl B. Siewert June 29, 1946.  They later moved to Marvin and Twin Brooks, SD to farm, then moved to Montevideo in 1970.  Polly enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.  She liked to play bingo and games, doing crafts, cooking and baking, collecting dolls and telling jokes.

She is survived by her husband Carl; six children: Carl Joe Siewert and his wife Lynette of Ortonville, MN, Mary Ann Nolting and her husband Donald of Ortonville, MN, Kieth Siewert and his wife Julie of Renville, MN, Paulette Anderson and her husband Dennis of Montevideo, MN, Linda Abernathy and her husband Richard of Webster, SD, and Carol Kuebler and her husband Ervin of St. Cloud, MN; 18 grandchildren: Dawn Siewert, Brenda (Dale) Athow, Troy Siewert, Angie Nolting, Kimberly (Tim) Danielson, Sandra Nolting, Barbara (Jon) Hoffman, Daniel (Ashlie) Nolting, Orin Siewert, James Siewert, Ross Siewert, Tina Wagner, Melissa Anderson, Paul Anderson, Patrick Abernathy, Matthew Abernathy, Lora Kuebler, and Shannon (Matt) Rothwell; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one grandson, Kyle Anderson; two great-grandsons: Clay Anderson and Carl Anderson; and 12 brothers and sisters.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to the National Kidney Foundation of Minnesota.
