Inez Paulsrud, of Montevideo died on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 92. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 1:30 P.M. at Jevnaker Lutheran Church with Rev. Marie Eckberg officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday afternoon and evening with the family present from 5 - 7 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. Alma "Inez" Paulsrud was born on May 2, 1919 in Mandt Township of Chippewa County, MN to Andrew and Ida (Christenson) Paulsrud. She was baptized on June 9, 1919 and confirmed on May 6, 1934, both at Jevnaker Lutheran Church. She graduated from Benson High School and the St. Cloud Beauty School. She worked as a beautician in Willmar, Belle Plaine and Luverne before returning to Montevideo and operating Inez's Beauty Shop for fifteen years before retiring. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, golfing, bowling, crocheting and doing hardanger, putting puzzles together, playing cards, watching the Minnesota Twins and researching the family history. She was currently a resident at the Luther Haven Nursing Home. She is survived by a sister, Mildred Severson of Montevideo, MN; a nephew, James Severson of Alexandria, VA; and a niece, Janna (and Mark) Kovach of Rosemount, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ivar Paulsrud; sisters: Amanda, Pearl and Aster Paulsrud; an infant sister; and a brother-in-law, Roland Severson.
