Albert was born on July 14, 1912 in Sioux Rapids, Ia. to Olaf and Tobina Olson. He was baptized in the Lutheran Church. In 1913 he moved with his family to Minnesota. He was confirmed at the Bergen Lutheran Church in rural Montevideo. On May 10. 1936 he was united in marriage to Rose Fossum at the Our Saviors Lutheran Parsonage in Montevideo. He was in the salvage business until retiring in 1975. He was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo.
Albert died on Monday March 29, 1993 at the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 80. He is survived by his wife - Rose; by a son - Ronald(Shirley) of Miltona, Mn.; by grandsons - Jeremy Olson and Jason Abel; by granddaughters - Ronda and Shannon Olson; by sisters - Ruth Enevoldsen and Alice Ketelsen both of Montevideo; and by brothers - Lars Olson of Baudette, Mn. and Omer Olson of Fridley, Mn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and by brothers - Gilford, Andrew Oscar, Julius, and Carl Olson and by a brother in infancy.
Funeral Services - Thursday April 1 1:30 P.M. - Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Warren Broughton officiating. Burial in the Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens in Montevideo.
