Alicia Woodford

A grave side service will be held at Sunset Cemetery Friday, May 17th at 2pm. The family welcomes all who would like to attend.

Alicia Woodford passed away October 31, 2023 at Beehive Homes of Maple Grove, MN after a 7 year long struggle living with Alzheimer’s; she was 93 years old. Alicia was born June 9th, 1930 in Appleton, MN. She was the eldest of 9 children to Stephen and Virginia Kashmark.

Alicia was preceded in death by her husband Frank (2006) and sons Robert (2010) and David (1977). She is survived by her son Dick and daughter Kathy Ovshak (Scott) of Maple Grove, MN and sister Kathy Jessen of Madison, MN.

Alicia was a devoted wife and loving mother; she cherished all things “family”. She loved gardening, crafts, sewing, letter writing and reading. Mom was an amazing cook and baker too! She loved to entertain family and friends. We are so lucky to have had her as our Mom and to have her in our lives as long as we did.
