Alvina (Nordby) Bilberry

July 22, 1913 — November 24, 1994

Alvina Bilberry, 81, died November 24, 1994 at the Clara City Nursing Home in Clara City.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 28 at 2:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Alvin G. Lewis, Jr. will officiate and interment will be at the Dawson City Cemetery.  There will be visitation at the funeral home for one hour before services on Monday.

Alvina Hazel Bilberry was born July 22, 1913 at home near Milan, MN the daughter of Henry and Mabel (Hansen) Nordby.  She was baptized at Big Bend Lutheran Church and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church near Watson.   She attended country school near Watson.  Alvina was united in marriage with Donald Nash in October of 1938 in Milbank, SD.  He was later killed in an automobile accident.  She married Marvin Bilberry in July of 1950.  She has been a resident of the Clara City Nursing Home for the past 20 years.

She is survived by two brothers: Milford and Raymond both of Montevideo; and three sisters: Hortense "Bonnie" Olson of New Brighton, MN, Marlyn Densmore of St. Paul, MN and Ardell Benning of Bryan, TX.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Donald; one brother Torfinn; and one sister Duaine Johnson.
