Amy Jo Stringer

Amy Jo Stringer, 28, of Wyoming, MN and formerly of Montevideo, died June 10, 1999 as the result of an automobile accident in Fridley, MN.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, June 13, 1999 at 2:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo with an Eastern Star Service at 1:15 P.M.  Rev. Wayne D. Kopitzke is officiating.

Amy Jo Stringer was born November 14, 1970 at Montevideo, MN the daughter of Dale Stringer II and Julie (Satre) Stringer.  She was baptized and confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church in Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo Senior High School in 1989.  She later attended Rocky Mountain School of Arts in Denver, CO for two years.  Amy moved back to Minnesota in 1997.  She was a member of the Eastern Star.  Amy enjoyed many things.  She loved outdoor activities including: hunting, fishing, kayaking, animals, and mustangs.  She liked music and going to concerts with her buddy, Paul.  She also liked Harley Davidson’s and sang karaoke.

She is survived maternally by her mother, Julie Satre of Tulsa, OK; grandmother, Vivian “Ma” Satre and special friend Earl Kruse of Montevideo, MN; and aunts and uncles: Kris and Barry Bahl and Sandy and David Prostrollo.  She is survived paternally by her father, Dale Stringer II of Clarkfield, MN; grandmother, Inez Stringer; and aunts: Lynn, Alvina, Nancee, and Rayann.  Amy is also survived by her special friend, Paul Johnson and a host of family and friends.

Preceding her in death were maternal grandfather, Harland (Pat) Satre and her paternal grandfather, Dale Stringer.
