Angeline Isabelle Larson

March 14, 1917 — April 18, 1998

Angeline Isabelle Larson was born March 14, 1917, in Maxwell Township, rural Dawson, MN, to Rangvald and Marie (Kolbenschlag) Kvam.  She was baptized and confirmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Dawson.  She attended and graduated from the Boyd High School in 1935.
On January 1, 1943, Angeline married Edwin C. Larson at the Trinity Lutheran Church Parsonage in Dawson.  They were blessed with five sons.  Angie and Edwin farmed in rural Dawson for 30 years.
Angie took great pride in being a wife, homemaker, and mother of five sons.  She loved baking and cooking, gardening and flowers, reading, and music.  She will always be remembered for her kind and gentle ways, and her appreciation for all God's creation.
Following a battle with Alzheimers Disease, Angie died  on Saturday, April 18, 1998, at the Johnson Memorial Home in Dawson, at the age of 81 years, 1 month, and 4 days, where she had lived since July, 1993.
Angie is survived by her husband, Edwin C. Larson of Dawson; children: Ron and wife, Melva, of Dawson, Dale and wife, Kathy, of Apple Valley, Kevin of Eden Prairie, Allan and wife, Judy, of Dawson, and Dan and wife, Becky, of Eden Prairie; eight grandchildren: Christopher and wife, Shannon, Todd and wife, Shelly, Amy Boys and husband, Chris, Tracy, Kelly, Eric, Reid, and Brian; one great-grandson, Ryan Larson; sisters: Bernice Kaupang of the Johnson Memorial Home, Margaret Pearson of Dawson, and Priscilla Sampson and husband, Glenn, of Plymouth; sisters-in-law, Lee Kvam of Coon Rapids and Ruth Larson in Sweden; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rangvald and Marie Kvam; brother, Roger Kvam; brothers-in-law: Genther Kaupang and Vern Pearson; nephew, Kirk Kvam; Swedish family members: father and mother-in-law, August and Hilda Larson; brothers-in-law: Art Larson, Oscar Larson, Gunder Larson, and Runi Larson; and sister-in-law, Edith Larson.
