Angeline Wagner

Angeline "Angie" Wagner, of Milan, died on Friday, April 4, 2008 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud at the age of 80. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 1:30 P.M. at the Kviteseid Lutheran Church in Milan with Rev. Tom Opoien officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Angeline Sylvia (Storlien) Wagner was born on May 27, 1927 to Albert and Sophia (Troska) Storlien. She was baptized on July 14, 1927 and on September 21, 1941 she was confirmed at Minnesota Valley Lutheran Church. She attended Appleton schools until age 15. Then she went to Madison and worked in a restaurant. On May 5, 1960 she was united in marriage to Donald "Dusty" Wagner in Hazel Run, MN. They owned and operated "Dusty's Place" near the Watson Dam for 23 years, before retiring and moving into Milan. In 1985 she received her GED. She was a member of Kviteseid Lutheran Church. She enjoyed painting, knitting, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, collecting coins, playing bridge, listening to Twin's games, playing Scrabble, bird watching, and drinking coffee. She was known for her humor and especially enjoyed going for rides with her special friend Richard "Dickie" Anderson around Lac qui Parle Lake to see the deer and visiting (with a cup of coffee) at Milan Beach Resort with friends Jane and Jason Randall. She is survived by her special friend, Richard "Dickie" Anderson of Milan; by several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, "Dusty"; three brothers and their spouses: Harold (and Alice) Storlien, Alton (and Bernice) Storlien and Earl (and Rose) Storlien; two sisters and their spouses: Frances (and Sidney) Hofseth and Avis (and Berdeen) Sampson.; and two nephews: Dennis and Larry Storlien.
