Anna Christina (Lindquist) Meyer

Anna Meyer, of the Montevideo and Clarkfield area, died on November 12, 1995 in Sevierville, Tennessee at the age of 93.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday April 9 at 11:00 A.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo with Rev. Douglas Olson officiating.  Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be prior to services.

Anna Christina (Lindquist)  Meyer was born on June 5, 1903 in Yellow Medicine Co., MN to Nils and Carolina (Skald) Lindquist.  She was united in marriage to Sylvester Meyer on June 5, 1928 in Estherville, Iowa. She lived most of her lifetime in the Montevideo- Clarkfield, MN areas.  She has been living with her son in Sevierville, TN for the past year.  She enjoyed homemaking, needle work, and camping and fishing with her husband.  She was a meticulous lady and had a kind word for everybody.

She is survived by sons - Robert Meyer of Randolph, Maine; James Meyer of Sevierville, Tennessee; and John Meyer of Woonsocket, Rhode Island; 5 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Sylvester in 1969, by brothers - John and Gustave Lindquist; and by sisters - Hannah Johnson, Ida Melbasted; and Hulda Hegdal.
