Anthony “Tony” Feldhake, 51 years old, passed away on Monday August 6, 2018 at the Clarkfield Care Center.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Clarkfield Care Center from 12- 2 PM. Burial will be in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens of Montevideo.
Anthony “Tony” Richard Feldahke was born June 13, 1967 at the Chippewa County Hospital to Fred “Bud” Jr. and Marian (Moe, Boike) Feldhake. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church of Montevideo. Tony was a graduate of Montevideo High School, which his entire family was very proud of.
Throughout the years because of disabilities, Tony has lived in numerous homes in Minnesota. In 2001, he moved to Hearth Homes in Clara City where he had three long time best friends. After becoming sick in 2014, he then became a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center. Tony worked for many years at the Chippewa Enterprises along with many of his friends. Whatever he did or whoever he met in life he called all of them his “buddies”. Every year he would look forward to going to Camp Fellowship for a week. He touched many lives and will be missed by all.
At the Center you could find him teasing the staff, and they would say he took their ice cream and cookies and never shared them. That was a funny joke to him. He loved talking to anyone who would listen to him. When he did see you it was always “I miss you”. When he felt good you could find him strolling in his wheel chair into rooms and up and down the hall. He had his good and bad moments, but the staff and residents appreciated having him live there. They were his second family.
Tony is survived by his siblings: Jeanne Feldhake, Tom (Darlene) Boike, Scott Boike, Fred (Sheila) Feldhake; brother-in-law, Ron Dunn; nephews and nieces: Corey Feldhake and girls, Jamie (Lindsay) Feldhake and girls, Lori (Bill) Shulund and family, Alex (Shyanne) Boike and son, Rikka (Jared) Williamson and son, Jonathon (Crystal) Boike, Ricky, Kayla, and Kyle Feldhake; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; sister, Catherine Dunn; uncles; aunts; and cousins.
