Arlene Runyon, of Montevideo, died on Friday, April 25, 2003 at the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 67.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at 1:30 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Michael Briggs. officiating. Burial will be in the Our Saviours Lutheran Cemetery of Baxter Township.
Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening, with the family from 5 - 7 PM and with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Arlene Ann (Moseng) Runyon was born on July 19, 1935 to Edwin and Ruth (Agre) Moseng. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviours Lutheran Church of Baxter and graduated from Dawson High School in 1953. On January 15, 1955 she was united in marriage to Rhodean (Dean) Runyon at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church of Baxter. They lived in Montevideo before moving to Franklin, MN, New Brighton, MN, Pottstown, PA, San Antonio, TX and Maple Grove, MN before returning to Montevideo in 1992. She was a factory worker and later when she moved back to Montevideo worked at the Luther Haven Nursing Home She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was active in circle. She enjoyed volunteering at Luther Haven, Crafting, gardening and fishing. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be sadly missed by all.
Arlene is survived by one daughter, Cindy Agre and her husband Larry of Montevideo, MN; one son, Bradley Runyon of Champlin, MN; four grandchildren: Ryan Agre and his wife Marcy of Leighton, IA, Nathan Agre and his wife Carla of Burnsville, MN, Tristan Agre and his fiancé Adrienne Gaster of Orange City, IA, and Lacey Agre of Montevideo; a great-grandson, Bryant Agre of Leighton, IA; her father, Edwin Moseng of Dawson, MN; a brother, Russell Moseng and his wife Susan of Dawson, MN; nieces and nephews: Jodi Enevoldsen and her husband Alan, Jami Anhalt and her husband Chad, Brent Moseng and Randy Moseng and his wife Jody; as well as by great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rhodean in 1998; an infant daughter who died at birth; and her mother; Ruth Moseng.
