Audrey (Christenson) Angrimson

March 29, 1932 — November 17, 2017

Audrey Angrimson died Friday, November 17, 2017 at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 85.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo.  Rev. Donald S. McKee will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 5-7:00 PM at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo with a prayer service at 5:00 PM.  There will also be visitation at the church for one hour before the service.

Audrey Idell Harriet (Christenson) Angrimson was born March 29, 1932 in Montevideo, MN the daughter of Alfred and Hilda (Johnson) Christenson.  She attended country school north of Montevideo.  Audrey was united in marriage with Arthur Angrimson April 8, 1950 at Montevideo, MN.  They made their home in Montevideo.  Audrey did house cleaning and also did cleaning at the Hunt and Riverside Hotels.  Arthur died May 5, 1977.  She continued to work and raise her family after his death.  She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary for many years.  Audrey enjoyed garage sales, bingo, playing cards at the VFW and spending time with family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Allen (Leta) Angrimson, Arlin (Barb) Angrimson, and Anita Angrimson all of Montevideo; five grandchildren: Andrea (Derek) Birdsall, Amber ( special friend Brandon) Anderson, Kyle (Kenzie) Anderson, Elizabeth (special friend Matt Kellen) Angrimson, and Anthony (special friend Klara Schroeder); eight great-grandchildren: Megan, Truit, Christian, Nolan, Riley, Audree, Haylee, and Freya; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Christenson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Arthur; granddaughter, Amy Wolf; eight brothers: Harris, Clifford, Alfred, Verdi, Albie, Juleen “Kelly”, Verdie John, and Dennis Christenson.
