Barbara Bosch, of Grace Twp, died on Monday, June 22, 2009 at her home at the age of 67. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Montevideo with Rev. Gwen Bohlke officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Grace Township. Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon and evening with the family present from 5 - 7 P.M. and with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. Barbara JoAnn (Christenson) Bosch was born on May 8, 1942 in Montevideo to Casper and Inga (Peterson) Christenson. She was baptized and confirmed at Jevnaker Lutheran Church and graduated from Benson High School in 1960. On December 2, 1960 she was united in marriage to Douglas Bosch at Jevnaker Lutheran Church. They have farmed and lived in Grace Township and she worked for many years doing inventory for Food and Fuel. She was a long-time member of Rosewood Methodist Church and was active as a Sunday School Teacher, Church Officer and youth group leader. She currently was a member of United Methodist Church in Montevideo. She had served as a 4 - H leader and enjoyed baking, sewing, being at Games Lake and in Texas, and loved having company and her grandchildren around. She is survived by her husband, Douglas; three children: Penny (and Neil) Larson of Benson; Lee (and Kim) Bosch of Clara City and Corey Bosch of Montevideo; nine grandchildren: Michael (and Lindsey) Bosch; Christopher Bosch; Stephen and Jake Pederson; Louie and Lyndon Larson; Cathy, Cody and Caitlin Bosch; a great granddaughter, Alyssa; one brother, Milfred (Bud) Christenson of Lincoln, NB; two sisters: Lois (and Pete) Hoef of Hutchinson, MN and Ione (and Art) Noble of Montevideo; a sister-in-law, Joyce Christenson of St. Cloud, MN; a brother-in-law, Ed Pitt of Montevideo as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers: Art, Clifford, Selmer, Harold and Delbert Christenson and three sisters: Elna Jacobson; Avis Kittelson and Arlene Pitt.
