Bette Craigmile

Born on November 13, 1930 in Watkins, MN and passed away at the age of 90 on December 11, 2020 in Dawson, MN with family present.

A private family graveside service officiated by Pastor Steve Maas was held at Antelope Hills Christian Church, Canby MN on December 14, where Bette was a member for decades. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be welcomed to Antelope Hills Christian Church Building Fund, 2075 – 280th Ave, Canby MN  56220.

Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother.  Survived by her husband of 71 years, Charles A Craigmile Jr. and sons, Vincent (Debra) Craigmile and Mark (Cindy) Craigmile.  Being a grandmother and great- grandmother brought her much pride and joy. Grandchildren are Jonathan, Justin, Kristin, Cathryne and Vincent Jr; great-grandchildren are Brooklynn, Eli, Charlie, Ella, Charlee and Cruz; one brother, Dennis (Judy) Burkstrand; and special friend Elaine Ohlenkamp.

She is predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Evelyn (Dahl) Burkstrand; brothers, Clayton and Gerald; and grandson, Charles III.

Bette was most recently cared for at the Johnson Memorial Care Center with much love and in her final days the United States Public Health Service assisted with impressive care delivery.  The Blackjack Babies also provided her incredible enjoyment during her stay.
