Beulah Pederson, of Montevideo, died on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud at the age of 78. Memorial services will be conducted on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Donald S. McKee officiating. Interment will be in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens. Beulah Glenice (Thompson) Pederson was born on July 26, 1932 in Dawson, MN to Ervin and Genora (Oman) Thompson. She was baptized and confirmed at Riverside Lutheran Church in Dawson and attended Dawson Public Schools. On December 4, 1949, she was united in marriage to Albie Pederson at Riverside Lutheran Church in Dawson. She lived the rest of her life in Montevideo. She was an active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, taught Sunday School and was a Cub Scout Den Mother. She worked at a number of places including: the Fiesta Ballroom, Erickson Station, Montevideo Junior High, Pamida, and Hill Grocery. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, baking, gardening, playing cards, antiquing, fishing, and spending time at Mill Lake. She is survived by three children: Patricia (and Ardeen) Prekker of Ramsey, MN, Mitchell Pederson of Morris, MN, and Cynthia (and John) Stranlund of Savage, MN; eight grandchildren: Toni, Adam and Andrew Prekker, Misty (and Chris) Hanson, Amber (and Nate) Samuelson, Ryan Pederson, and Chad and Collin Stranlund; three great-grandchildren: Zach, Carter and Kennadi; seven siblings: Elsie Marie, Violet (and Keith) Haugland, Shirley Luchsinger, Stanley (and LaRae) Thompson, Jerome (and Kim) Thompson, Donald (and Karen) Thompson, and Erling (and Barb) Thompson; as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albie in 1992, and by two brothers: Ernest and Curtis Thompson.
