Bob Kurtzbein

Bob Kurtzbein, of Minneapolis, died Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis at the age of 65.

Because of COVID, private memorial services will be held.  Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo in charge of the arrangements.

Robert Mark Kurtzbein was born December 16, 1955 in Montevideo the son of Robert and June (Sunderland) Kurtzbein.  He was baptized and confirmed at the United Methodist Church and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1974.  Bob served in the US Army where he was stationed in Germany and San Francisco.  After his discharge, he went to tech school in Willmar and worked as a carpenter before moving to Minneapolis in the late 1980's.  He worked in maintenance at the VA Hospital in the Cities.  Bob enjoyed walking along the river.  He was quiet by nature but enjoyed spending time with his close friends.

He is survived by his mother, June of Montevideo; two sisters: Kim Velde of Montevideo and Heidi (Arlin) Bergo of Montevideo; and six nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his father, Robert and a brother, Paul.
