June 4, 1958 — April 2, 2015

Bradley Olsen died Thursday, April 2, 2015 at San Antonio, TX at the age of 56.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo.  Rev. Donald S. McKee will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church for one hour before the service on Friday.

Bradley Leroy Olsen was born on June 4, 1958 in Montevideo, Minnesota. He graduated from Montevideo High School where he was a standout athlete in football, basketball, and track. He continued his education at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he played football and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. He had a 34 year career in sales, 14 of them with 3M Company out of St. Paul, MN, and the remaining 20 years with his current employer, Schneider Electric out of Palatine, IL.

Brad was a lifelong Lutheran, baptized, confirmed, and married at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo, MN. He was currently a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes. He married his childhood sweetheart, Kim Bright, on August 29, 1981, who coincidentally was born three hours after him in the same hospital in Montevideo. God blessed them with four beautiful children. They initially made their home Lubbock, TX, as Brad began his professional career with 3M, but were transferred to San Antonio six years later.

Brad enjoyed spending time with and helping friends, attending his children's sporting events, and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was a fun loving guy, he loved talking with people and never met a stranger. He was compassionate and generous with a heart bigger than Texas. Brad was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Kim, his four children: Brittany (30) of College Station, TX; Justin (28) of Lake Placid, NY; and John (20) and James (17) of San Antonio; his parents, Ken and Janice Olsen of Montevideo, MN and his brother Todd Olsen of Albuquerque, NM.
