Brennon Johnson, of Montevideo, the son of Jazell & Jeff Holverson of Montevideo and Jon & Sharon Ostlie of Watson, died on Sunday, August 3, 2014 as the result of a drowning accident at Lobster Lake at the age of 15.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Kathy Skoglund and Rev. Willie Rosin officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 - 7 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo. Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home of Montevideo is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Brennon David Johnson was born July 28, 1999 at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital. He loved biking for long miles, exploring the trails in Wildwood Park, hunting, fishing, knee boarding, kayaking, skiing, snow shoeing, and creating new and wonderful robots. His dog, Mylie, was his world and together, they had many adventures. Brennon was looking forward to the beginning of cross country season this fall.
He is survived by his parents: Jazell & Jeff Holverson of Montevideo and Jon & Sharon Ostlie of Watson; a step-brother, Michael Molnar; grandparents: Lillian Ostlie of Montevideo and Mike & Cheryl Johnson of Montevideo; step-grandparents, Tom & Darlene Holverson of Lakeville, MN; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Brennon is preceded in death by his grandfather, Earl Ostlie; maternal great-grandparents, Derald and Elizabeth Schneider; and step-great-grandfather, Robert Berg.
