Bruce Allen Winters

Bruce Winters died Monday September 18, 2006 at his home in Montevideo at the age of 65.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with a visitation for one hour before the services.  Rev. David Baumgarn will officiate and burial will be at Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.

Bruce Allen Winters was born on February 9, 1941 in Montevideo, MN the son of William and Esther (Linde) Winters.  He was baptized at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Montevideo on April 13, 1941.  He was a member of the 1960 graduating class from Montevideo.   He was a PVT E-1 in the Army from 1963 - 1964.  Bruce worked at Equity Elevator for many years and drove truck for Bituminous Paving for twenty years.  He was a member of the Minnesota  National Guard and the American Legion.  Bruce enjoyed the MN Vikings and Nascar.

He is survived by two children: Valerie Louise Winters and Carson Daniel Winters both of Chanhassen, MN; one brother, Richard Winters of Richfield, MN; and two brothers-in-law: Bud Rustand and Ed Radermacher both of Montevideo.

Preceding him  in death were his parents; one brother, Donald Winters; and three sisters: Patricia Rustand, Carol Radermacher, and Sharon Winters.
