Carol Jean (Koopman) Milburn

Carol Jean Milburn, of Fairbanks, Alaska, died on Saturday May 4, 1996  near Fairbanks at the age of 35.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday May 10 at 1:30 P.M. at St. Johns Lutheran Church of rural Montevideo with Rev. Richard Hamlow officiating.  Burial will be in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening and with the family from 7 - 8  PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo and for 1 hour prior to services at the church.

Carol Jean (Koopman) Milburn was born on December 20, 1960 to Ronald Koopman and Louise (Rosebrock) Koopman.  She was baptized and confirmed at St. Johns Lutheran Church in rural Montevideo.  She graduated from Montevideo High School in 1978.  She entered the Air Force in 1980 and served until a few years ago when she began working for the Alaskan Oil Pipeline .

She is survived by her father, Ronald Koopman of Montevideo; her mother, Louise Koopman of Avon, SD; one brother, Richard Koopman and his wife Debra of Montevideo; one sister, Joyce Segebart and her husband Steven of Sioux City, IA; her grandmother, Julia Koopman of Montevideo; one nephew, Jason Koopman of Montevideo; and one niece, Melissa Segebart of Sioux City, IA.

She was preceded in death by two grandfathers and a grandmother.
