Carol Ann (Anderson) Roberts

Carol Roberts of Montevideo, died Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 82.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, March 20, 2022 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home of Montevideo.

Arrangements are with Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home of Montevideo.

Carol Ann Anderson was born September 21, 1939 in Clarkfield, MN to Arnold and Agnes (Peterson) Anderson.  She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith. Carol attended and graduated from Boyd High School.  She was united in marriage to Roger Roberts on February 1, 1963 in Minneapolis, MN.  To this unity five children were born.

Carol worked at MTI in Montevideo for over 30 years.  She enjoyed gardening, baking, and cleaning.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.  Carol wouldn’t miss a school function and was very proud to be a grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Rebecca (Richard) Norman of Montevideo, Julie Alsum (David Frisk) of Woodbury, MN, and Rodney (Lisa) Roberts of Montevideo; grandchildren, Jessica Norman (Tim), Daniel Norman (Nicole), Jenette Norman (Joe), Benjamin (Isabella) Norman, James Jemming, Joseph Jemming, Jacob Roberts and Matthew Roberts; great-grandchildren, Brock, Jayce, Aubrey, Miles, Adrian, Mia, Sophia, Braylee, Mila, Krew, Caitlyn, Kamden, Bryar, and an expected great-granddaughter; brother, Lynn Anderson; sisters, Margaret Tschoefske, Donna Buseman, Marlys Neider and Janice (Roy) Anderson; and several other extended family and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; children, Jane Marie and Rod in infancy; brothers, Alton, Allan, Kenneth, Donald and James Anderson; and sisters, Doris Patzwald, June Hankins and Ruth Cornelius.
