Carole Pitt, died Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Ark On The River in Anoka, MN at the age of 82.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo.  Rev. Donald S. McKee will officiate and interment will be at Granite Falls Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16 from 5-7:00 PM at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo and at the church for one hour before the service.

Carole Joyce Pitt was born on March 9, 1940 in Montevideo to Stanley and Clara (Haugerud) Anderson.  She attended and graduated from Montevideo High School.  She married Kent Knutson and had three children: Zachary, Melody, and Cliff.  Following Kent’s death in 1990 Carole married Gordon W. Pitt in 1994.   She worked as a receptionist at Allina Clinic for 17 years.

Carole was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.  She lived in Montevideo, Granite Falls, Washington State, and Coon Rapids.  As a young mother she was involved in Cub Scouts and served as a Den Mother for several years.  Carole enjoyed flower gardening, birdwatching, traveling, and baking.  Carole cherished her annual trip to northern Minnesota to enjoy the fall colors and trips to visit her sister Shirley in North Carolina.

Carole is survived by her husband Gordon; children: Zachary, Clifford, Melody; step children: Greg Pitt, Leslie Pitt Schneider; one step-grandchild, Aiden Pitt;  and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her first husband, Kent Knutson; and her siblings: Jerry Anderson, Kathy Korte, and Shirley Parke.
