Charles Bernard Fosse was born January 16, 1911 in Minneapolis, MN the son of John and Alvina (Ahrendt) Fosse. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyd March 12, 1912 and confirmed June 14, 1925. Charley was united in marriage with Thelma Borgedalen February 28, 1935 at Madison, MN. They made their home at Dawson, MN. Charley started working for the local creamery in the 1940's and worked as a school custodian from 1960 until retiring in 1976. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed traveling the countryside to see the scenery and wild-life. Charley was a member and active at Grace Lutheran Church in Dawson.
Charlie died on Thursday, December 23, 1999, at the Johnson Memorial Home in Dawson at the age of 88.
He is survived by one son, Herb Fosse and his wife Nancy of Dawson, MN; one daughter-in-law, Karen Fosse of Dawson, MN; and two grandchildren: Kari Ann Fosse and Nicole Fosse.
Preceding him in death by his parents; his wife, Thelma in 1991; one son, Allan in 1992; and several brothers and sisters including: Lawrence Fosse, Harry Fosse, Alvin Fosse, Helen Roggenbuck, Frances Stay, several in infancy.
