Charles Pearson, of Montevideo died on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 86. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rev. Donald S. McKee officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. Charles Almon Pearson was born on July 12, 1923 in Montevideo, MN to Carl and Andria (Ingvalson) Pearson. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1941. He worked for Powell Auto and was assistant county auditor for 25 years. He was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo, had lived at Copper Glen and was currently a resident of the Luther Haven Nursing Home. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters: Myrtle Peterson, Irene Haugerud, LaVon Anderson, and Evelyn Gilsrud; and by three brothers: Everett, Clayton and Gordon Pearson.
