Charlotte Kalstrom

Charlotte Kalstrom formerly of Montevideo, died on Sunday April 28, 1996 at the Appleton Hospital at the age of 82.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday May 1, 1996 at 1:30 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Watson, MN with Rev. Robert Rendal Officiating.  Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.

Charlotte Kalstrom was born on December 27, 1913 in Chippewa Co., MN to Jens and Synova (Einerson) Kalstrom.  She attended rural schools and graduated from Milan High School.  She attended beautician school in Watertown, SD.  She operated  the Twin Sister Beauty Shop with her twin sister Margaret in Montevideo for nearly forty years before retiring.  She was a long-time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was active in it's women's organizations.  She was especially fond of camping and music.

She is survived by her twin sister - Margaret Kalstrom of Appleton, MN;  by nephews - David Kalstrom of Jamestown, ND; Wilbur Kalstrom of St. Cloud, MN; and Leland Otterholt of Montevideo, MN; and by a sister-in-law - Olive Kalstrom of Montevideo, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, by brothers - Walter & Oscar Kalstrom;  by sisters - Clarice Kalstrom and Genora Otterholt and by 2 nephews.
