Charlotte Mae (Larson) Kunze

Charlotte Kunze. 75, of Montevideo, died December 1, 1999 at the Chippewa County - Montevideo Hospital.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 4, 1999 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo.  Rev. Warren Broughton  officiated and interment was at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Charlotte Mae (Larson) Kunze was born on March 28, 1924 in Baxter Township of Lac Qui Parle Co., MN to Engebret and Mina (Erickson) Larson.  She was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviours Lutheran Church of Baxter.  She attended rural schools and graduated from Dawson High School.  On March 8, 1947 she was united in marriage to Robert Kunze in Montevideo.  She has lived in Montevideo since her marriage and has been a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by daughters - Laurie Kittelson and her husband Steve of Hopkins, MN and Karen Grimes and her husband John of Montevideo; by 4 grandchildren - Adam and Heather Kittelson and Jessica and Amanda Grimes; by a daughter-in-law - Rosella Kunze of Golden Valley, MN as well as by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert in 1989; a son - Mark Kunze in 1997 and by a brother - Raymond Larson.
