Charlotte Larson, of Watson, died Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 79.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 19, 2003 at 2:30 P.M. at Jevnaker Lutheran Church. Rev. Gregory Gabriel will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo with a prayer service at 7:00 P.M.
Charlotte Ordella (Pederson) Larson was born November 17, 1924 in Mandt Township, Chippewa County, MN the daughter of Ole E. and Mina (Falla) Pederson. She was baptized and confirmed at Jevnaker Lutheran Church and graduated from Milan High School in 1943. Charlotte was united in marriage with Raymond T. Larson August 3, 1944 at the Big Bend Lutheran Parsonage. After Ray’s discharge from the military, they lived and farmed at Big Bend, Maynard, and Montevideo before moving by Watson in 1963. She worked at Sears and the Carlson Doll Factory for several years. She had been a resident of Luther Haven Nursing Home the past 2 years.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond; two children: Kim Larson and his wife Paula of Chesterfield, VA and Tammy Larson of Watson, MN; two grandchildren: Amy (Jim) Roberts and Wendy (Alex) Sentyrz; one great-granddaughter, Hannah Roberts; two sisters: Rudella (Donald) Haugen of Montevideo, MN and Elvina (Floyd) Norby of Milan, MN; two brothers: Stanley (Hazel) Pederson of Burnsville, MN and Raymond (Delores) Pederson of Kalamazoo, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one son, David Larson in 1990; four brothers: Arvid Pederson, Vernon Pederson, Milford Pederson, and Milo Pederson; and two sisters: Evelyn Pederson and Oma Pederson.
