Charlotte Solseth, of Watson, died on Thursday, July 24, 2003 at the Chippewa Co - Montevideo Hospital at the age of 82.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 27, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at Zion Lutheran Church of rural Watson. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday afternoon and evening, with the family from 6 - 7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Charlotte Lorraine (Teigen) Solseth was born, August 22, 1920 at Watson, MN to Adolph and Inga (Iverson) Teigen. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church. She graduated from Montevideo High School in 1936 and attended Windom College. On April 6, 1941, she was united in marriage to Ernest Solseth at her parents home in Watson. She was a lifelong resident of the Watson area and a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was a member of the VFW and Legion Auxiliary, the Watson Improvement Club, Watson Community Center and the Zion Restoration Society. She enjoyed music, crocheting, reading, bingo, dolls, trips to Branson and her children and grandchildren. She was currently a resident at the Luther Haven Nursing Home
She is survived by her husband, Ernest of Watson. MN; four daughters: Loretta Yrdanoff of Grand Prairie, TX.; Robin Richardson of Montevideo, MN; Lorrie Kittelson of Montevideo, MN and Lorraine Larson and her husband Danny of Watson, MN; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; a sister, Viola Waldum of Watson, MN as well as by a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Roger & Malen Solseth; 2 sisters: Alice Olson and Florence Larson; and by 5 brothers: Clifford, Oscar, Arnold, Norman & Donald Teigen.
