Chris DuFrane, of Appleton, died on Monday, May 22, 2006 at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dawson at the age of 35.
Services were conducted on Friday, May 26, 2006 at 7:00 PM at Kviteseid Lutheran Church in Milan with Rev. Tom Opoien officiating. Burial was in the Kviteseid Lutheran - Milan Methodist Cemetery.
Christopher Mark DuFrane was born on June 22, 1970 in St. Paul, MN to Donald and Beverly (Swenson) DuFrane. He was baptized at St. Agnes in St. Paul on July 5, 1970. He graduated from Milan High School in 1988. On August 20, 1988, he was united in marriage with Lisa Kleven in Milan, MN. They lived in the Milan area and he worked as a Custom Applicator for Cenex of Montevideo. Chris enjoyed racing and football. His children’s school and sporting events were especially important to him.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa; four children: Caleb, Baxter, Kiona, and Aundrea; his parents: Donald DuFrane of Montevideo, MN and Beverly DuFrane of Columbia Heights, MN; three brothers: Eric DuFrane Columbia Heights, MN, Joe DuFrane and his wife Beth of Henderson, MN, and Paul DuFrane and his wife Betty of Madison, MN; one sister, Katie Gervais and her husband Robert of Currie, MN; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents: Margret and Stanley Swenson and Rosalie and Frank DuFrane.
