Clarice Lorraine Knigge, of Dawson, died peacefully Sunday September 21, 2014 at Johnson Memorial Nursing Home in Dawson at the age of 93.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 11:00am at Johnson Memorial Nursing Home Chapel in Dawson with Rev. Kendall Stelter officiating. Interment will be in the Dawson Cemetery following the service.
Clarice Lorraine Knigge was born on June 12, 1921 in Dawson, MN , the daughter of the late Albert and Otilda (Oman) Larson. She married Clarence A. Knigge on June 3, 1944, in Philadelphia, PA. Clarice worked at different jobs over the years including 30 years at Daytons in Minneapolis. She and Clarence semi-retired to Frazier Park, CA. From there they retired to Sun City, AZ, before moving back to Dawson, MN.
She is survived by her son Charles(Sharon) Knigge of Green Bay, WI; 3 grandchildren and their spouses: Todd (Molly) Knigge of Madison, WI, Jamie (Stephen) Van Drisse of Green Bay, WI and Thomas (Angela) Knigge of Green Bay, WI. Also 9 great-children: Sophia and Kieran Knigge, Connor, Hannah, Morgan and Lauren Van Drisse., and Brianna, Kinsley and Kyla Knigge; her sister Arlys (Virgil) Amundson, two brothers, Sheldon (Jane) Knigge and Virgil Larson.; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death were husband Clarence Knigge, 4 brothers: Ronald, William, Delbert and Dean Larson and her parents..
