Clarise (Lyngen) Norman

September 29, 1910 — September 20, 1992

Clarise Norman, 81, of Montevideo died Sunday, September 20, 1992 at her home in Montevideo.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 1992 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church.  Rev. Victor Ovrebo and Mr. Jay Dahlvang will officiate.  Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo.

Visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo and at the church for one hour before services on Wednesday.  There will be a prayer service on Tuesday evening at 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

Clarise Helen Norman was born on September 29, 1910 in Lac Qui Parle County, Minnesota to Ole and Ingeborg Lyngen.  She atttended school and grew to adulthood in Montevideo.  Clarise graduated from Montevideo Senior High School in 1928 and later attended school in Morris for two years.  She was united in marriage to LeRoy Norman on June 5, 1936.  They made their home in Montevideo.  LeRoy in 1964.  Clarise was a member of the Rebekaah Lodge, a girl scout leader and active at Trinity Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one daughter Mary Jane Gullickson and her husband Gordon of Belview, MN; three grandchildren: Andrew, Charles, and Brittany; one sister Sylvia Toftness and her husband Clayton of Freemont, NE; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceeding her in death were her parents, husband LeRoy, one sister  Marie Steenson, and two brothers: Marvin and Art.
