Clifford Eugene Andresen

Clifford Andresen, of Montevideo, died on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at his home at the age of 64.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Tim Ehling and Rev. John Bjorge officiating.  Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

Clifford Eugene Andresen was born on December 4, 1940 in Montevideo, MN to Fred and Jessie (Peters) Andresen.  He was baptized and confirmed at Bethany Reformed Church in Clara City and graduated from Clara City High School in 1959.  He served in the US Army in Viet Nam.  On August 24, 1963 he was united in marriage to Lorelei Sherod at Trinity Lutheran Church in Montevideo.  He attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA, completing his studies in 1971.  They lived in Granite Falls where he owned and operated the Andresen Studio 1973 until his retirement in 1998.   They moved to Montevideo in 1997.  He was a very active member of the Minnesota Professional Photographers Association, serving on the MPPA Council from 1975 - 1985 and received his Accredited Photography degree in 1981.  He received the MPPA Service degree in 1999 and Life membership in 2003.   He was a member of the American Legion Post in Granite Falls and the VFW Post in Montevideo and was also a member of the NRA, Willmar Gun Club and the Montevideo Rod & Gun Club.  He enjoyed traveling, hunting, trap shooting, gardening, tropical fish, bird watching, boating and canoeing.

He is survived by his wife, Lorelei; two brothers: Steven Andresen and his wife Bonnie and Norman Andresen and his wife Linda, both of Clara City, MN; an aunt, Pearl Hayunga of Clara City, MN; an uncle, Rev. Andres Andresen of El Paso, TX; as well as by a number of nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Melvin Andresen; as well as by several aunts and uncles.
