Clifford Kulbeck, of Montevideo, died on Saturday, January 13, 2001 at the Clarkfield Care Center at the age of 76.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 17, 2001 at 1:00 P.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Watson with Rev. Larry Olson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Clifford W. Kulbeck was born on May 10, 1924 in Danbury, WI to Henry and Bertha (Ovre) Kulbeck. He was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo, MN. He graduated from Webster High School in Webster, WI and attended Minneapolis Business College. He served in the Merchant Marine during World War II. On March 24, 1946 he was united in marriage to Florence Golden at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Watson, MN. He worked at National Bushing in Montevideo for nine years and ran a General Store in Webster, WI for several years before moving to Minneapolis. After living in Minneapolis for over 30 years, they returned to Montevideo in 1997. He was currently a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, The D.A.V. and enjoyed music.
He is survived by his wife, Florence; two brothers: Raymond Kulbeck and his wife Phyllis of Fountain, CO and Wilfred Kulbeck and his wife Pearl of Fayetteville, NC; one sister, Doris Rieck and her husband Charles of Middleton, WI; three sisters-in-law: Betty Kulbeck and Linda Kulbeck of Webster, WI and Gertrude Eide of Milan, MN; as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Roger and Alden Kulbeck and an infant brother, Alvin Kulbeck.
