Cora Paulsrud, of rural Montevideo, died on Friday, June 26, 1998 at her home in Grace Township at the age of 80.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 30, 1998 at 2:00 PM at Buffalo Lake Lutheran Church with Rev. Carlton Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Montevideo.
Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Cora Amelie Paulsrud was born on January 13, 1918 in Mandt Township of Chippewa Co., Minnesota to Edward and Josie (Christenson) Paulsrud. She was baptized and confirmed at Jevnaker Lutheran Church and attended rural schools. She lived on farms in Mandt and Grace Townships was a care giver for her parents, enjoyed gardening, hand work, loved animals, enjoyed cooking and especially baking. She was a member of Buffalo Lake Lutheran Church and it’s WELCA.
She is survived by brothers - Ernest Paulsrud of Montevideo and Harlan Paulsrud and his wife Becky of Benson, MN; by sisters - Edna Paulsrud and Joy Bourne and her husband Henry of Montevideo; 8 nieces and nephews and 11 grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, by a brother - Curtis Paulsrud in 1961 and by a niece - Denise Paulsrud in 1995.
