A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2009, at 7:30 PM, at the Hanson & Dahl Funeral Home in Dawson with the visitation starting at 6 PM until the service. After leaving Dawson, Dale resided in Mabank, Texas, for 6 months prior to an unfortunate accident on August 15, 2009. He later died at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas on August 17, 2009, surrounded by family, at the age of 48 years and 9 days. Dale had many medical trials to overcome throughout his life, and yet, he continued to have a sense of humor. He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Pat Austin of Mabank, TX; sister, Donna (Jerry) Johnson of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; brother, Danny (Melissa) Austin of Wylie, TX; and 3 nieces and 2 nephews. In Dawson, he is also survived by Leisa Austin, Katie Evers, Kathy Viken, Kim (JT) Schacherer; nephews: Jon and Brandon Schacherer; and many friends in Minnesota.
