Dale Saue. of Montevideo, died on Monday, February 26, 2007 at the Chippewa County - Montevideo Hospital at the age of 59.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 1:30 PM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Donald S. McKee officiating. Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday afternoon and evening with the family being present from 3 - 5 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo and for one hour prior to services at the church.
Dale Kenneth Saue was born on September 19, 1947 in Montevideo, MN to Clifford and Avanell (Anderson) Saue. He was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo. At the age of 5 he was afflicted with Polio and spent 2 years at the Shriners Hospital. He graduated from Montevideo High School in 1966, attended Willmar Community College for 2 years and graduated from the University of Minnesota at Morris. He worked for several years at the Lundgren Veterinary Office before becoming a caregiver for his parents. He cared for his father for many years before his father’s death. He enjoyed watching sporting events and visiting with friends and family.
He is survived by siblings: Shirley (and Merrill) Sundlee of Willmar, MN, Carol (and George) Waters and Richard (and Gloria) Saue of Montevideo, Sharon Jensen of North Mankato, MN, Janice (and Douglas) Boike of Clara City, MN and Karen (and Gary) Voss of Marshall, MN; as well as by a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Gail in infancy; and by a nephew Larry Sundlee in infancy.
