Darleen Schoep, formerly of Montevideo, died on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Presbyterian Home in Spring Park, MN at the age of 79. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 1:30 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rev. Cheryl Goode officiating. Interment will be in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Monday at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo. Darleen Frieda (Redepenning) Schoep was born on February 20, 1933 in Big Stone, SD the daughter of Albert and Emma (Putzier) Redepenning. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Nassau, MN. On March 10, 1956 she was united in marriage to Jasper Schoep at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montevideo. After a year of farming, they moved to Phoenix, AZ and later to Yuma, AZ. In 1966 they moved back to Minnesota. She worked at Northern Telecom, Barwick Drapery, Innovex and County Market She is survived by one daughter, Kimberli Heller and her husband Tim of Mound, MN; two grandsons: Joshua (Sara) Bode and Nathan (and Keli) Bode; four great-grandchildren: Jaxon, Wyatt, Parker and Emma; four sisters: Ivanella Redfield of Moorhead, MN; Mary Lou (and Chet) Stauffer of Eugene, OR; Donna Peterson of Granite City, IL; and Phyllis Cram of LaPalma, CA; three brothers: Duane "Bud" (and Betty) Redepenning of Anoka, MN; Willis (and Carol) Redepenning of Fridley, MN and Charles (and LaRona) Redepenning of Hopkins, MN as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jasper in 2000 and a sister Betty in infancy.
