David Eugene Skogrand

David Skogrand died December 19, 2001 at Rochelle, IL at the age of 50.

Funeral services were be conducted on Saturday. December 22, 2001 at 1:30 PM at Salem Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Wayne D. Kopitzke officiating.  Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

David Eugene Skogrand was born on March 19, 1951 in Montevideo, MN to Donald and Patricia (Kellner) Skogrand.  He was baptized in April of 1951 at the Watson Lutheran Parsonage and confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church in Montevideo.  He attended Montevideo Schools and graduated from Montevideo High School in 1969.  He attended Southwest State College in Marshall, MN.  He has worked in construction and construction sales in Colorado, Minnesota and Illinois.  He was presently the National Sales Rep. for Western Forms of Kansas City and had lived in Rochelle, IL for the past nine years.  He had been a member of the National Guard and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Skogrand of Plymouth, MN;  his parents: Don and Pat Skogrand of Montevideo;  a brother, Steve Skogrand and his wife Judith of Shakopee, MN; nephews: Sean and Chad Skogrand; a special friend, Debe Willis of Rochelle, IL and by several cousins aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by a brother - Brian Skogrand.
