Debbie Hedin, of Maynard, died Sunday, January 19, 2025 at CentraCare Hospital in Willmar at the age of 71.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Granite Falls. Pastor Donald S. McKee will officiate, and burial will be in the Clarkfield City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday.

Debbie Louise Coubal was born on October 17, 1953, in Clarkfield, MN, to Joseph and Ernestine (Daun) Coubal. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Granite Falls and graduated from Clarkfield High School. On August 20, 1971, she married David Hedin, and they settled in the Maynard area, where they raised their two children, Tammy and Scott.
A talented cook, Debbie shared her culinary expertise through a catering business she and David ran for many years. In addition to cooking, she had a passion for crafting, particularly crocheting. Debbie was also known for her cake decorating skills and the patience required to perfect them. Above all, Debbie cherished spending time with her family and close friends, who were at the center of her life.
Debbie is survived by her husband, David of Maynard; daughter, Tammy (Troy) Zieske of Granite Falls; grandchildren, Aaron (Morgan) Zieske, Allie (Ted) Sjurseth, and Reagan and Landry Hedin; great-grandchildren, Blakely, Maddyn and Bowen Zieske and Greta and Hayden Sjurseth; sisters, Barb (Harold) Larson of Glenwood, Mary Jo (Ron) Kohler of Glenwood, and Bonnie (Mike) McCarthy of Clarkfield; sister-in-law, Elaine Coubal of Clarkfield; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Scott Hedin; granddaughter, Eden Hedin; sister, Gerry (Kenneth) Leenerts; brothers, Michael Coubal, Louie (Donna) Coubal and Joey Coubal; infant sister, Cynthia; brother-in-law, Glen Haugerud; and stepmother, Dorothy.
