Dianne Marie Welling

Dianne Welling of Big Bend Township, died Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Swift County - Benson Health Services at the age of 76.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Big Bend Lutheran Church.  Pastor Kristine Isder will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Funeral services will be live streamed and available on Dianne's obituary page on www.andersontebeest.com.  There will also be a recording of the funeral available the following day at the same location.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 1, 2022 from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo, and continue one hour prior to services at the church on Sunday.

Arrangements are with Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo.

Dianne Marie (Bjornstad) Welling was born May 3, 1945 in Montevideo, MN.  She attended Montevideo High School, and graduated in 1963.  She was united in marriage to Vincent D. Welling on October 12, 1963 at Salem Lutheran Church in Montevideo.

She was a homemaker, and worked for Cenex (Monte Firestone) of Montevideo for over 37 years as a receptionist.  She was active in Big Bend Lutheran Church, serving as council secretary various times, Sunday school teacher, and WELCA, and over the years in various community events.  She enjoyed going to sporting and school events which involved her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed embroidering, reading, having coffee get-together with her friends and family, and was looking forward to welcoming her first great-grandchild in June.

She is survived by daughters: Janell Welling of Montevideo, Gwen (Doug Beyer) Schroeder of Alexandria, MN; sons: Timothy Welling of Appleton, MN and Matthew (Jennifer) Welling of Paynesville, MN; daughter-in-law, Brenda Welling of Montevideo, MN; grandchildren, Jordan, Justin, and Breanna Welling, Danika, Merissa, and McKenna Schroeder, Brittany Jo Welling, Paige and Preston Welling; siblings: JoAnne (Del) Schrupp, Neil (Dawn) Schmidt, Elise (Wayne) Shequen, Paula (Paul) Sachariason, Dolly (John) Lyngen; brother-in-law, James Welling; sister-in-law, Lois Welling; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.

Dianne was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent in 2013; son, Mark in 2019; son-in-law, Todd Schroeder in 2012; parents, Walter and Velma Schmidt; in-laws, Orville, Verda and June Welling; grandparents; brother-in-law, Donald Welling; and sister-in-law, Delores Welling.
