Donald Bolt, 64, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, died July 18, 1995 at Imperial Point Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 22, at 1:30 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo.
Visitation will be one hour before services on Saturday. Rev. Robert Ford will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Donald Arthur Bolt was born December 7, 1930 at Montevideo, MN the son of Arthur and Grace (Van Buren) Bolt. He graduated from Montevideo High School in 1948, the University of Minnesota with a Phi Beta Kappa in 1951, and from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1955. Donald did his residency in surgery at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C. He spent 10 years in the US Army as a Thoracic Surgeon. Following his military service, Donald practiced at North Memorial Hospital in Minneapolis, MN and in the early 1970's he moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where he practiced plastic surgery. Donald was united in marriage with Mary Margaret Engersoll in the summer of 1951. She died in 1983.
He is survived by his mother, Grace Bolt of Montevideo, MN; his children: Arthur and his wife Ann of Miami, FL, Martin and his wife Mona of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Daniel and his wife Elizabeth of Schenectady, NY, William of Orlando, FL, Rosemary Westlund and her husband Gary of Pleasanton, CA, and Laura Kovich and her husband John of Philadelphia, PA; several grandchildren; and brothers and sister: Norman and his wife Sandra of Wadena, MN, Harold and his wife Norma of Reno, NV, Ralph and his wife Bonnie of Bloomington, IL, and Evelyn Foggy and her husband Dennis of New Port Richey, FL.
Preceding him in death were his father, Arthur in February of 1995 and his wife Mary Margaret.
