Donald Hubble, of Montevideo, died on Friday, February 19, 1999 at the Chippewa Co - Montevideo Hospital at the age of 72.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 23, 1999 at 2:30 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rev. Mary Hovland and Rev. Tom Flaherty officiating. Interment will be at Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening and with the family from 5 - 8 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
Donald Edward Hubble was born on January 14, 1927 in Detroit, MI to Fred and Lillian (Tischer) Hubble. He was baptized, conformed and attended schools in Michigan. He was united in marriage to Marlene Weber on November 26, 1955 in St. Paul, MN. He worked at Peerless Welding in St. Paul for many years before retiring in 1985. Following his retirement, he moved to Maynard, MN for several years before moving to Montevideo, where he currently was residing. He especially enjoyed fishing, camping, snowmobiling and drinking coffee and talking with friends.
He is survived by two sons: Tim Hubble of Woodville, WI and Terry Hubble of Montevideo, MN; two brothers: Floyd Hubble of St. Petersburg, FL and Frederick Hubble of Minneapolis, MN; four sisters: Viola Loe of Maynard, MN, Delores Buhr of Litchfield, MN, Ilene Kormann of Waseca, MN and Marlene Berends of Montevideo, MN; and a special friend, Judy Clausen of Montevideo, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Hubble and Lillian Steffens and by his wife, Marlene in 1983.
