Donald Wayne Tweeter

Donald Tweeter died on Wednesday, October 17, 2001 at the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 72.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, October 20, 2001 at 1:30 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with Rev. Wayne D. Kopitzke officiating.  Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Donald Wayne Tweeter was born on April 3, 1929 in Chippewa County, MN to Erick and Anna (Anderson) Tweeter.  He was confirmed at Saron Lutheran Church and attended rural and Montevideo schools. He worked in construction for several years in the Montevideo area before moving to St. Paul, MN.  While in St. Paul he worked as a supervisor in woodworking shops until retiring in 1992.

He is survived by two sisters: Marlys Anderson and her husband Stanley of Montevideo, MN  and Helen Nordang of Granite Falls, MN; one brother, Richard Tweeter and his wife Sarah of Evansville, MN; as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Harold and Roland; and two sisters: LuVerne Knudson and Doris in infancy.
