Dorothy Ann Perkins

Dorothy Perkins, of Montevideo, died on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 68. Services will be conducted on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo with interment in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from Noon until 2 P.M. on Saturday at the Anderson Funeral Home.

Dorothy Ann (Campbell) Perkins was born on January 18, 1943 in Hennepin County, MN to Thomas and Irene Rose (Malucky) Campbell. She grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from North High School. She lived in Minneapolis, Elk River for a short time, and in Lino Lakes, MN from 1978 - 2001 before moving to the Montevideo, MN area. She loved to watch her grandchildren playing, working on puzzles and spending time in her flower garden. She loved to joke and laugh with her family.

Dorothy is survived by her significant other of 37 years, Bruce Walker of Montevideo; two children: Kim Johnson and Mark Perkins; five grandchildren: Brittaney, Eliza, Logan, Thomas and Suzana; and two sisters: Betty Shutrop of Anoka, MN and Helen “Peachy” Peterson of Isanti, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by a brother, Bill Campbell.
