Eleanor Schrapp

Eleanor Schrapp of Montevideo died Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 84.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church.  Rev. Donald S. McKee will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 5-7:00 PM at the Anderson - TeBeest Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:30.  There will also be visitation for one hour before the service at the church.

Eleanor Wilhelmine (Lehmann) Schrapp was born July 28, 1935 at Boyd, MN the daughter of John and Anna (Krause) Lehmann.  She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church near Boyd.  Eleanor graduated from Boyd High School in 1952 and later graduated from Mankato State Teachers College.  She taught school in Madison and Marshall, MN before she was united in marriage with Wes Schrapp June 30, 1962 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo.  They made their home in Montevideo and she taught at Ramsey Elementary School until retiring in 1996.  She was very active at Our Saviors Lutheran Church and a member of the Dorcas Circle.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, and volunteering.  They went camping, motorcycle riding, and did lots of traveling.  Most of all, she was a proud mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Wes; a son, Nick (Sarah) Schrapp of Grand Rapids, MN; and two grandsons: Tucker and Cooper.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother, Ernest (Shirley) Lehmann.
