Emma Lee

January 14, 1899 — June 15, 1995

Emma Lee, of Montevideo,  the widow of Alfred Lee, died on Thursday June 15 at the Luther Haven Nursing Home at the age of 96.  Funeral services were conducted on Saturday June 17, 1995 at 1:30 PM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo with Rev. Warren Broughton officiating.  Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery.

Emma  Amanda (Holm) Lee was born on January 14, 1899 in Clarkfield, Mn. to  Anton and Anne Holm. She attended rural schools and grew to adulthood in the Clarkfield area.  She was united in marriage to Alfred Lee on January 14, 1926 in Clarkfield.  They moved to a farm northeast of Montevideo in 1944 and into Montevideo in 1960.  She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Montevideo and was active in it's Altar Guild.

She is survived by sons - Robert and his wife Millie  and Merald and his wife Evonne, both of Montevideo; by daughters - Adeline Christenson of Montevideo and Evelyn Meyers and her husband Warren of St. Louis Park, Mn.; 15 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband Alfred in 1991; by brothers - August, Arther and Olger Holm, and by a sister - Pauline Holm.
