Esther Larson, of rural Montevideo, died on September 27, 2001 at the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 77.
Memorial Services will be conducted on Saturday, October 6, 2001 at 1:30 PM at Mandt Lutheran Church in rural Montevideo with Rev. Gregory Gabriel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Esther Doris Larson was born on July 16, 1924 in Montevideo, MN to Ferdinand and Ruth (Nelson) Larson. She was baptized and confirmed at Mandt Lutheran Church by Rev. C. T Jenson and attended rural schools. She lived in Seattle, Chicago and for many years in the Minneapolis, MN area, where she worked as a waitress until being forced to retire because of health in 1996. She moved back to the Montevideo area about a year ago. She is a lifelong member of Mandt Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a brother, Rudolph (Luella) Larson of Montevideo, MN; one aunt, Agnes (Clyde) Olson of Benson, MN; as well as by numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers: Morris Larson and by one in infancy.
