Etha Caldwell died on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo at the age of 91. Services will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ in Benson, Mn with Rev. Deborah Bartelt officiating. Interment will be on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 12:390 P.M. at Pine Grove Cemetery in Cass Lake, MN. Etha Alberta Caldwell as born on March 31, 1920 in Mapes, ND to Alfred and Amy (Strain) Fuhrman. She grew up and attended school in Michigan, ND. She lived in Maltby, WA and Cass Lake, MN. On April 29, 1948 she was united in marriage to Alfred Caldwell in Crookston, MN. She enjoyed horses, dogs, cats and loved to play cards. She was currently a resident of the Luther Haven Nursing Home in Montevideo. She is survived by a brother, Russell (and Ann) Furhman of Coushatta, LA; three sisters: Dorothy Church of Kerkhoven, MN; Darlyne (and Clair) Smith of Benson, MN and Carrol Premo of Molalla, OR; a brother, Douglas Fuhrman of Waubun, MN as well as by a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred in 2004; a brother, Robert Furhman and by a sister, Jean Hagbloom.
