Eva Darlene (West) Larson

Darlene Larson, 70, of Madison and formerly of Hagen, MN died April 3, 2000 at the Madison Hospital.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 7, 2000 at 1:30 P.M. at Big Bend Lutheran Church.  Rev. Corey Fuhrman officiated and interment was in the church cemetery.

Eva Darlene Larson was born on January 11, 1930 in Shelby County, Iowa the daughter of Charles Edward and Mildred (Schraiter) West. Darlene was united in marriage with Arthur Larson July 5, 1952 at Sibley, IA.  They made their home in Hagen, MN until 1993 when they moved to the Madison Lutheran Home.  Darlene was a member of the Big Bend Lutheran Church, the Women of the ELCA, and the VFW Auxiliary.  She enjoyed her pictures and scrapbooks, music, and baking for Art, family, and friends.  She loved all our children very much.

She is survived by two brothers-in-law: Floyd Larson and his wife Fern of Montevideo and J. Vernon Larson and his wife Gertrude of Watson; and by many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Arthur in 1995; and two brothers: Duane and Donald West.
