Eva Gertrude (Warren) Wallace

Clara City, MN

Eva Wallace, 99, died June 30, 1996 at the Clara City Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 1996 at 1:00 P.M. at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Robert Rendahl will officiate and interment will take place at a later date at the Granite Falls City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held for one hour before services on Wednesday.

Eva Gertrude Warren was born July 31, 1896 at Paullina, IA the daughter of Frazier and Bell Warren.  She was united in marriage with John Lausen in 1916 in Iowa.  They farmed near Milroy, MN until moving to Sacred Heart in 1927.  They later lived near Renville and Granite Falls, MN.  John died in July of 1941.  Eva married Guy Wallace in November of 1941 in Granite Falls.  They lived in Florida for many years.  Guy died in 1970.  She had been a resident of the Clara City Nursing Home for several years.

She is survived by one daughter, Coral Shatter and her husband Roy of Harrisburg, SD; two sons: Warren Lausen and his wife Gena of Sacred Heart, MN and Virgil Lausen; six step-children: Roger and Gundrun Wallace of Montevideo, MN, Warren Wallace of Appleton, MN, Archie and Val Wallace of Montevideo, MN, Joyce Anderson of Montevideo, MN, and Eleanor and Ernest Tostenson of Montevideo, MN; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and three sisters.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands: John Lausen and Guy Wallace; one brother; and two sisters.
